Summary

This Placenta and the Umbilical cord model can be used for performing a series of exercises from umbilical cord ligation to amputation and placental delivery. The Placenta and the Umbilical cord models can be easily connected. In addition, it is possible to connect to an existing fetal doll or placenta models using the Umbilical cord’s cap with string *1.
The Umbilical cord model can be connected and used multiple times even after being cut.
Fluid beads are used inside the Placenta model to make the shape of the placenta more realistic and easier to deliver.

Features

Fluid beads are used inside the Placenta model to realistically reproduce the shape of the placenta at delivery,and making placenta delivery easier.
The Umbilical cord model and the Placenta model can be easily connected without string.
It is possible to connect to the existing fetal doll and the Placenta model using the cap with a string. *1
The Umbilical cord is smooth cutting by crushing. If not crushing, “snap” sound can be herd. After cutting the Umbilical cord, the cord can be connected again to the Placenta model using the cap.
The Placenta and the Umbilical cord model can be applied lubricant.

How to use


Wet the Placenta model in the water and bring it closer to its actual weight.	Apply enough lubricant.	Connect the Umbilical cord model to the Placenta model and the fetal doll.

Umbilical cord amputation

It is smooth cutting by crushing.
If not, “snap” sound can be herd.

It is possible to check the blood
vessels after cutting.

Placenta delivery

Fluid beads are used inside the Placenta model to realistically reproduce the shape of the placenta at delivery. No extra load is applied to the perineum of the Phantom.
